Telehealth & Phone Consultations

Full payment by credit card or EFTPOS only is required prior to all telehealth and telephone consultations.

To schedule a telehealth or telephone consultation email us at info@continencematters.com

Telehealth or Telephone Consultations with our Surgeons:

Payment will be processed before your consultation of fewer than 15 minutes duration. Further consultations will need to be scheduled if more time is needed rather than a longer phone call to respect other patient’s bookings.

Please provide the Australian phone number you wish to be called on.

You agree to these terms and conditions by requesting a telehealth or telephone consultation.

There are limitations to telehealth and telephone consultations. Due to the nature of your problem, a further face-to-face consultation may be recommended for examination, to perform tests (e.g. flow rates, bladder scans), or for other reasons.

Following your consultation pathology and radiology requests and prescriptions can be posted to you, faxed (or collected).  A chemist requires the original prescriptions, not email or fax.  If faxed directly to a chemist the chemist will dispense this prior to receiving the paper copy in the post from us.  You will need to provide us with the fax number of your chemist.

Medicare does not allow us to provide Telehealth and telephone services if you are in a hospital or emergency department.

Telehealth or Telephone consultations with our continence GPs:

Referrals are not a requirement for GP consults.

Further consultations may need to be scheduled if more time is needed rather than a longer phone call to respect other patient’s bookings.  Otherwise, if the phone call is of at least 20 minutes duration further payment will be required.

Please provide the Australian phone number you wish to be called on.
